Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having a 79 score against 74.4. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy S4 is notably older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's body is a bit thinner and much lighter. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S4 has the previous 4.4 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with 4 more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 54 percent greater battery size.
The Galaxy S4 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video definition and a F2.2 aperture, the Galaxy S4 also has a back facing camera with a better 13 mega pixels resolution.
