Samsung Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having a global score of 81.7 against 74.4. Even though Samsung Galaxy S8 is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's design is lighter and a little bit thinner. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display and a better 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features slightly more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
