The Galaxy S8 Active has a general score of 81.9, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's 74.4 score. The Galaxy S8 Active is a better cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, we must highlight that it is also a thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 and more pixels per screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with slightly more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's battery life is just as good as Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's battery performance. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active takes much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a lot larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and videos in poorly lited environments and a much higher video quality.
