Galaxy S9 has a score of 83.3, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's 74.4 general score. Galaxy S9's design is just a bit thicker but just a little lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and both of them were released only 1 months apart. The Galaxy S9 counts with a better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a better number of pixels per display inch.
Samsung Galaxy S9 features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
