Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting an 88.5 score against 74.4. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Flip has the previous 12 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Galaxy Z Flip is a newer and thinner device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but it's a bit heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a bit greater screen density, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2636px and a quite larger display. The Galaxy Z Flip features a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 21% bigger battery size.
