Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having an 82.6 score against 74.4. The Sony Xperia 1 is a a little bit lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but both of them are 0.32inches thick. Xperia 1 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia 1 has a better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels, much more pixels per inch in the display and a little bit larger screen. Sony Xperia 1 has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same resolution back camera, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a lot better (4K) video definition and a lot larger aperture.
The Sony Xperia 1 features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has improved battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has a 20% larger battery size.
