Sony Xperia Z3 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having a global score of 77.3 against 74.4. Despite of the fact the Sony Xperia Z3 is a lot older and just a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's design is still just a bit lighter. These phones use Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z3 has the previous 4.4.4 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a little bit better pixels quantity per screen inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia Z3, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 also has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Xperia Z3 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
