Comparison review
The TCL 20 Pro 5G is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having a general score of 76.1 against 74.4. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but TCL 20 Pro 5G has the previous 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Although TCL 20 Pro 5G is notably newer than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's thicker and just a little bit heavier.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a larger amount of RAM memory. TCL 20 Pro 5G has a screen that's very similar to the display in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although the TCL 20 Pro 5G has a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a bit larger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.

The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1 TB and more internal memory capacity.
TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a 13 percent larger battery capacity.
