Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a general score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's general score of 74.4. Although Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's construction is a little thinner and a little bit lighter. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a bit worse pixel density and a little bit smaller screen. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus feature quite similar CPUs, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has less processing cores (but faster), it also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
