Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9T is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, with a global score of 82.2 against 74.4. The Xiaomi Mi 9T design is newer, but just a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 9T has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a bit greater display density and a bit bigger display.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with slightly more memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9T captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a larger aperture, a lot higher (4K) video resolution and a way more MP camera in the back.
