The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a global score of 79, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's 74.4 score. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S design is much newer, but a little thicker and somewhat heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has the previous 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a screen that's just as good as the display in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a bit worse pixel quantity per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a camera with much more MP, a way better 3840x2160 video quality and a larger aperture to capture better photography and video in low light environments.
