Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 6 has the previous 5.1 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo. Even being the best in this review, we must note that it's also noticeably older, a bit heavier and thicker.
The Google Nexus 6 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has 4 less cores and 3 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Google Nexus 6 features just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px.
The Google Nexus 6 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a more mega-pixels camera and a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a much better memory to install applications and games than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro counts with longer battery life than Google Nexus 6, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
