Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's 77.2 general score. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo. Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a newer device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it is heavier and just a little thicker.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Huawei Mate 40 Pro feature incredibly similar displays, although the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a bit better pixel count per screen inch, a little bit larger display and a higher 1334 x 2772 pixels resolution.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots greater photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a much larger sensor, a lot higher (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has a 10% greater battery size.
