Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, getting a 77.4 score against 77.2. Even though the Huawei Mate 8 is incredibly older and just a bit heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, it's construction is still a bit thinner. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, a little bit greater display pixel density and a quite larger screen.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Huawei Mate 8 features more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 8's battery lifetime is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's battery duration. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images in low-light situations, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with better 60 fps video frame rates and a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
