Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 5 has a global score of 79.3, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's 77.2 global score. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 5 has the previous 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo. Galaxy Note 5 is an incredibly older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, but Samsung could make it just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter anyway.
The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a bit superior processor than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and more processing cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has greater battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note 5 features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera sensor, and they both have a F1.9 aperture, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much higher 16 mega pixels resolution.
