Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, having an 85.7 score against 77.2. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Even though Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is way older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, it's construction is much lighter and thinner.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater count of pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has slightly more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro captures slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a back camera with a lot worse resolution and a much worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, and they both have the same aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also counts with a larger camera sensor providing a better image quality.
