Comparison review
Xperia XZ Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's overall score of 77.2. The Xperia XZ Premium body is just a little bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it is a little heavier and was released around 18 months before. The Xperia XZ Premium features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xperia XZ Premium features an incredibly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more brightness, a lot better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen. Xperia XZ Premium has as much storage for games and applications as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro one, both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB and the same 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium shoots better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for taking photos or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality, a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a much better video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has improved battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 24 percent larger battery capacity.
