Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, having a general score of 79 against 77.2. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Xperia XZ2 Compact has an older 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Xperia XZ2 Compact's design is way thicker but a bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and they were released only 8 months apart.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixel density and more brightness.
Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way more megapixels camera, a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way better 3840x2160 video definition.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with slightly more storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 400 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro counts with a way better battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2870mAh.
