Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi 9T is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, getting a global score of 78.2 against 77.2. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi 9T has older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi 9T is much newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, it is thicker and just a bit heavier.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower 1080 x 2280 resolution, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel density.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a camera in the back with much more MP, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a bigger aperture to take better photography in low light environments.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T features just a bit bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a much better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
