Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, having a 91.5 score against 77.2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's design is notably newer, but somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. These devices come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has the older 12 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a just a bit lower screen density, it also counts with a lot brighter screen, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a quite bigger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a greater amount of RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer takes way better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with a much better resolution, a way higher (4K) video resolution and a bigger aperture for better captures and video in poorly lited environments.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
