Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a 77.2 score against 76.6. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is an older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but Xiaomi made it a little bit thinner and just a little lighter. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, so it counts with a couple additional features and increased performance.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2280px, it also counts with a little greater pixels amount in each inch of display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a bigger aperture to capture better images and video in low-light situations, a much bigger sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos and a camera with lot more megapixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has just a bit more memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 256 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has a 26 percent larger battery size.
