Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, getting a overall score of 81.1 against 77.2. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is newer than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, it is a little thicker and heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher amount of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a little bit better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. Both of them have 8 processing cores and a 6 GB RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a much higher 3840x2160 video quality, a lot larger sensor and a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features superior battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has a 26% larger battery capacity.
