Comparison review
Huawei P40 has a score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's 80.3 general score. Huawei P40's body is newer and a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's, although it's also a little bit thicker. Huawei P40 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei P40 also counts with a just a little better screen pixel density.
Huawei P40 features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Huawei P40 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for shooting pictures or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a back-facing camera with a better 50 MP resolution and a lot larger camera sensor.
