Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 has a score of 83.8, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's global score of 80.3. Galaxy A50's construction is lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, even when both were only released with a couple months difference. Samsung Galaxy A50 has a screen that is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy A50 has a little lower pixel density, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen.
The Galaxy A50 has a slightly bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A50 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and 8 CPU cores.
Samsung Galaxy A50's battery duration is very similar to the battery lifetime in Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.
