Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, with a global score of 85 against 80.3. The Galaxy M40 is a just a little lighter and just a bit thinner device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, although they were only released with a couple of months difference. Galaxy M40's CPU is very similar to the CPU in Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although the Galaxy M40 has a larger amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a screen that is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 one, both of them have a same size display, the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a higher pixel count per inch of display. The Galaxy M40 counts with a slightly bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy M40 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
