Comparison review
The Galaxy S21 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, getting a 91.8 score against 80.3. Galaxy S21's construction is much newer, a bit lighter and a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. The Galaxy S21 has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S21 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy S21 has a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a just a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features much more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S21, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy S21's battery life is just as good as the battery performance in Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy S21, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a same size camera aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with faster 120 fps video frame rate and a back-facing camera with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
