Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active has a score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's 80.3 score. The Galaxy S8 Active body is older, heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with faster 120 fps video frame rate, a back-facing camera with a much better resolution and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality photos and videos.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has 128 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active and Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 count with quite similar batteries duration.
