Comparison review
Xperia 1 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, with an 82.6 score against 80.3. Xperia 1's construction has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, but it is just a bit lighter. The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more RAM memory.
The Xperia 1 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a little bit larger display and a way greater pixels quantity per inch of display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 takes much better pictures and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photos, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and pictures, a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera and higher 120 fps video frame rate.
Sony Xperia 1 has a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 1 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features longer battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
