Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is a bit better than Xperia XZ Premium, getting a general score of 80.3 against 79.8. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is a little bit thicker than Xperia XZ Premium, it's just a bit lighter and newer. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 4 GB RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium has an incredibly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better screen density and a way better 2160 x 3840px resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has 64 GB more internal storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features greater battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3230mAh. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 takes better videos and photos than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has a back camera with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution, a larger camera aperture, better video frame rate and a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures.
