Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE's 75.9 score. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, it must be told that it's also heavier and just a little bit thicker. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel number per inch of display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a very superior memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has better video frame rate, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a larger aperture to capture better low-light photography and video and a camera with much more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has a 28 percent bigger battery capacity.
