Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, having an 80.3 score against 79. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's construction is just a little thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although it was released around 15 months before. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a quite greater number of pixels in each inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows 256 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has superior battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has a 26 percent greater battery capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have the same camera aperture, a 0.5 inches back camera sensor and a same resolution back camera, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
