Comparison review
Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021's 76.7 score. Even though the Galaxy S5 is noticeably older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021, it's design is a bit thinner and way lighter. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Galaxy S5 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 has Android 11 version, offering a couple nice extra features.
The Galaxy S5 has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 4 less processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 also has a much larger sensor, a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations and a way more MP camera.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 also has more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 has a way better battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
