Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a 76.7 score against 76.6. These phones use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021 has the newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, so it gives you a couple additional features and a performance increase.
