Moto Z2 Play has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro's score of 71.1. Moto Z2 Play is an notably older cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, but Motorola managed to build it thinner and a lot lighter anyway. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro features a very superior battery life than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. The Moto Z2 Play counts with a very superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Moto Z2 Play also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Moto Z2 Play is also a lot cheaper, which makes it an obvious call.
