The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, having an 85.7 score against 71.1. The Galaxy S6 Edge works with Android 5.0 OS, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with Android OS. The Galaxy S6 Edge design is somewhat thinner and way lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, although it was released many years before.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an additional GPU. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel count in each inch of screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro features a little bit better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge takes a lot better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, although it has a much tinier sensor which gives a way worse image and video quality, they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro features a way better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge costs a bit more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
