Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 has a general score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's score of 75.6. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Huawei Mate 20's construction is a little bit thinner and a little lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, despite of the fact that it was released about 11 months before.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a quite inferior pixel count per inch in the display and a bit worse 1080 x 2244px resolution, it also counts with a quite bigger display. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 20 also has more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same video quality, a same size aperture and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a larger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs.
Huawei Mate 20 features a greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 20 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T both have incredibly similar batteries performance.
