Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's general score of 75.6. Huawei Mate 8 is an a lot older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, but Huawei could make it a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner anyway. Huawei Mate 8 features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a just a little better display density, a little bit larger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T shoots greater photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a back facing camera with a way better resolution, a larger aperture to take better images and video in low light environments and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Huawei Mate 8 has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 8's battery lifetime is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T one.
