Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, with a general score of 88.2 against 75.6. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei P40 Pro's design is just a little thicker and a little heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a just a bit better pixel amount in each inch in the screen, a bit larger display and a bit higher resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Huawei P40 Pro counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate, a lot bigger sensor providing a lot better image quality and a better resolution back-facing camera.
Huawei P40 Pro has just a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a 4200mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
