Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 40 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, having a 77.2 score against 75.6. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but Motorola Edge 40 has an older 13 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Motorola Edge 40 body is incredibly newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T.
The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Motorola Edge 40 has a quite bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a much better performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a lot bigger aperture to take better low-light photos, a lot bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a camera in the back with more megapixels.
Motorola Edge 40 has just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
