The Motorola Moto G9 Play has an overall score of 76.7, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's 75.6 global score. The Motorola Moto G9 Play design weights the same than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, but it's a bit thicker. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Moto G9 Play has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Moto G9 Play and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T feature extremely similar CPUs, and although the Moto G9 Play has a greater amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has a brighter screen than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better screen pixels density and a much better 1080 x 2340px resolution.
Moto G9 Play has a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Moto G9 Play features greater battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a little bit better camera than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality and a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images in low-light environments, and they both have a back camera with a 48 mega-pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
