Comparison review
Galaxy A5 (2017) is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, with a score of 75.8 against 75.6. Galaxy A5 (2017)'s construction is just a little thinner and extremely lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, despite of the fact that it was released 3 years before. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) features a display that's very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's display, because although the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a bit better CPU than Galaxy A5 (2017). Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy A5 (2017) features as much storage capacity to install games and applications as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T one, they have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has a lot better camera than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a camera with lot more mega pixels, a larger camera aperture to capture better low light captures and videos and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features greater battery duration than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
