Comparison review
Galaxy A50 is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, with a general score of 83.8 against 75.6. Even though the Galaxy A50 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T were only released with a couple of months difference, the Galaxy A50 is thinner and somewhat lighter. Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy A50 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T both count with incredibly similar displays, because although the Galaxy A50 has a quite lower pixels density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a bit larger display. Galaxy A50 features a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy A50 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T feature similar batteries duration. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a superior camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light images, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality, a way higher resolution camera and a way better (4K) video definition.
