Comparison review
Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's 75.6 global score. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Alpha has older 4.4.4 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy Alpha is a much thinner and a lot lighter device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra GPU. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, although it has a little bit lower pixel count per inch of screen, a way worse 1280 x 720px resolution and a lot smaller display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a greater camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has a camera in the back with a lot better 48 MP resolution and a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited environments.
