Galaxy Note5 has a score of 80.2, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's 75.6 score. The Galaxy Note5 design is thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, even though it was released many years before. Galaxy Note5 features a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note5 also has more RAM memory.
Galaxy Note5 features a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater display density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has a lot larger sensor providing a much better image quality, a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and video and a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a quite bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Note5, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 33% more battery capacity.
