Comparison review
The Xperia 1 VI is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, with an 83.2 score against 75.6. The Xperia 1 VI design is way thinner and incredibly lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 VI has an older 14 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Sony Xperia 1 VI has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840, a bit larger screen and more pixels per inch of display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T counts with a very superior processing unit than Xperia 1 VI, although it has 9 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia 1 VI takes clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking images and video in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a 48 mega pixels resolution, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with higher video frame rates and a lot larger back camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and pictures.
Xperia 1 VI counts with a much greater memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 224 GB more internal memory. The Sony Xperia 1 VI has better battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a 25 percent larger battery capacity.
