Comparison review
Xperia 5 II is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, getting an 87.2 score against 75.6. Xperia 5 II is a newer phone, and it is also a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T. Xperia 5 II features a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels in each inch of display and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520px.
Sony Xperia 5 II features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia 5 II features a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 5 II also has 5 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller sensor taking less light and washed colors, lower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also counts with a much more megapixels back-facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T and the Sony Xperia 5 II have really similar battery performance.
