Comparison review
The Xperia XZ Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's 75.6 score. The Xperia XZ Premium construction is just a little bit thinner and a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, although it was released 2 years before. The Xperia XZ Premium features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a much greater pixels density.
Xperia XZ Premium has a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 256 GB, the Xperia XZ Premium also has 64 GB internal memory. The Xperia XZ Premium has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a better camera than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality, a much more megapixels back facing camera and a larger aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited situations.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features improved battery performance than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3230mAh.
