Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's global score of 75.6. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, we must tell that it is also an older, heavier and incredibly thicker cellphone. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way greater screen density and a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T shoots clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has a larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a much better resolution back facing camera.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a superior storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a SD card slot that holds up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13 percent more battery capacity.
