Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, having a general score of 79.8 against 75.6. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's design is just a bit thinner and a little lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, even though it was released many years before. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a lot higher pixel count per screen inch.
