The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a score of 76, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's overall score of 75.6. These phones come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is an older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, but Xiaomi made it lighter and thinner.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a processing unit that's very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T one, because although the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a lower number of cores , it also counts with more RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a just a little greater display density, a little larger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has a way larger sensor providing a way higher image quality, a back facing camera with lot more MP and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a 2% larger battery size.
